Algorithm Whisperer

Terms of Use

Effective October 2, 2026

These Terms govern access to and use of Algorithm Whisperer (AW). By using AW, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Service purpose

Algorithm Whisperer is a creator-intelligence product for YouTube creators. It provides creator-private historical analysis, comparisons, forecasts, checkpoints, experiments, and a separate public-research feature called Algorithm Intelligence.

AW is intended to help creators examine evidence and make their own publishing and experimentation decisions. It is not a guarantee of distribution, views, revenue, recommendation placement, or any other YouTube outcome.

YouTube and Google relationship

Algorithm Whisperer is an independent product. It is not YouTube or Google, and YouTube/Google do not provide or endorse AW's forecasts, scores, experiment conclusions, or Algorithm Intelligence assessments.

AW does not claim access to YouTube's private recommendation systems, hidden recommender state, internal ranking controls, or undocumented Google/YouTube APIs.

Your account and authorization

You must only connect a Google account, YouTube channel, or creator workspace that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for maintaining control of your AW account and for activity performed through your authenticated session.

AW's current Google integration is read-only. The requested scopes allow AW to identify the authorized channel, read channel/video metadata, read authorized YouTube Analytics, and maintain a safe grant identity for authorization withdrawal. They do not permit AW to edit your YouTube videos, titles, thumbnails, or channel settings.

Your content and limited processing permission

You retain ownership of the titles, ideas, descriptions, tags, outlines, scripts, notes, and other materials you submit to AW.

You give AW a limited permission to process those materials only as needed to provide the features you request, operate and secure the service, and perform the data handling described in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to AW.

Where a feature transfers specified text or metadata to a third-party processor, AW will disclose that processing in context. Semantic Preflight requires an affirmative opt-in before its OpenAI embedding request is made.

AW analysis, forecasts, and experiments

AW outputs are analytical estimates, comparisons, and evidence summaries. Historical relationships may be incomplete, noisy, non-causal, or affected by changes in the creator's audience, content, YouTube's products, or other conditions.

Forecasts and confidence labels are not promises, probabilities of success, or guarantees of future performance unless AW expressly labels a particular output otherwise. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on any AW output.

Algorithm Intelligence

Algorithm Intelligence is based on independently gathered public sources, reported observations, and AW's evidence assessment. It is separate from creator-private YouTube Analytics and should not be interpreted as privileged information supplied by Google or YouTube.

Public claims can be incomplete, disputed, outdated, or later contradicted. AW may change an assessment as the evidence changes.

Third-party services

AW depends on third-party services including Google/YouTube APIs and limited OpenAI processing described in the Privacy Policy. Availability or behavior of those services can affect AW.

Your use of Google and YouTube services remains subject to the terms and policies that govern your relationship with those providers.

Acceptable use

You may not use AW to obtain unauthorized access to another person's account or data, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, misuse API credentials, or use AW in a way that violates applicable Google/YouTube API terms or applicable law.

You may not represent AW-created analysis as an official YouTube or Google metric, judgment, recommendation, or statement.

API and policy-dependent features

Features that use YouTube API Data are operated subject to applicable Google and YouTube API terms, developer policies, scope approvals, and any additional permissions required for particular analytics or derived-metric uses.

AW may modify, restrict, pause, or disable a feature when necessary to maintain policy compliance, preserve data integrity, respond to provider changes, or protect the service and its users.

Service availability and changes

AW may evolve as the product, evidence base, APIs, and platform policies change. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed. AW may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security work, or other operational conditions.

Data controls and termination

You can revoke AW's Google authorization through Google Account permissions. AW also provides creator-data withdrawal controls in authenticated Settings. See the Privacy Policy for how revocation and deletion differ.

AW may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law or platform requirements, respond to misuse, or address a material violation of these Terms.

Intellectual property

Except for user content and third-party materials, AW's software, interface, branding, product structure, and AW-created materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of AW itself.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AW is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that forecasts, experiments, research conclusions, or service availability will be error-free or produce a particular creator outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AW and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost revenue, profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these Terms

AW may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when a new version is published. If a change materially affects how Google user data is used, AW will also follow the consent and disclosure requirements described in the Privacy Policy.
